Emirates NBD Bank warns of suspicious messages via WhatsApp and SMS

Emirates NBD has warned of the spread of suspicious messages through the WhatsApp application, SMS text messages and social media platforms. This was done through a post on their official account on the social media platform “X”.

The bank indicated that these suspicious messages may urge users to join certain groups, or may ask their recipients to click on unknown links.

Emirates NBD advised users to be careful and refrain from clicking on any unknown links, and to first verify the authenticity of the messages received with their sender before taking any action or implementing what is requested in them.
