According to data obtained by Emirates Today, the total number of scheduled seats on international flights at Dubai Airport, during the three months of this year, reached 14.8 million seats (29.6 million seats in two directions), compared to about 12.88 million seats (25.7 million seats in two directions). ) during the same period last year, with a growth rate of about 15%.
The data showed that the total number of seats scheduled during the fourth quarter of 2023 exceeded the levels of the same period in 2019, with a growth rate of 3%, with about 500,000 additional seats, at a rate of one million seats in two directions.
Dubai Airports confirmed that it is preparing for an exceptionally active period until the end of this year, and therefore it has revised its expectations for the total number of passengers for the current year to rise from 83.6 million to 85 million passengers.
